December 1, 2015 – Damaged goods are never wanted.

Damaged goods are never wanted.

They’re ignored and left to be forgotten.

They’re too much to handle.

Too hard to care for.

Too damaged to salvage.

It’s all his fault.

How will anyone ever love me?

I know exactly how you feel. After what we’ve been through how can anyone accept us as who we are instead of what we’ve been through? How can they understand that our negative feelings aren’t meant towards them they’re just within ourselves. More over- how can we trust someone to love us after what’s happened? How can we even love ourselves? But remember we are survivors, we are strong, beautiful and capable of the same love everyone else can be shown. Be strong, you’re amazingđź’•

Thank you so much for your kind words. Some days are definitely harder than others, but what gets me through it all is knowing I’m not alone. There are other beautiful souls out there, like yourself, who know and understand my pain and are out in the world flourishing. It gives me hope that there are brighter days ahead.
